Julie Jenkin's quilting passion started in a cabin in the backwoods of Wisconsin with a used sewing machine from the local high school. That was 1988. This time-passing hobby has turned into her full-time profession with no end in sight. Julie's day job is finishing other quilter's creations on her Gammill long-arm sewing machine. This wonderful job left little time to piece her own quilts. So the journey began to find quilting tools that were accurate and efficient. The first discovery was the Square in a Square Technique by Jodi Barrows. This is such a unique and valuable concept, it led to Julie becoming a certified Square in a Square Instructor in 2003. Next she invented the Quilt House Spinner rotating cutting board to easily square up all blocks. Still looking for the best way to cut fabric, she came across the best cutting system ever, Alto's QuiltCut2. This cutting system has made cutting fabric a breeze with the accuracy and efficiency that she had been searching for. Now Julie travels throughout the midwest to quilting shows to bring other quilters these fantastic, time saving quilting tools.
